The Cortijo de Mondalón farm is 25 hectares
and on its northwest corner is the rehabilitated hotel Mondalon. The whole complex is landscaped with native canarian flora Canaria, including vineyards, olive trees, vegetables and other fruits.
The Cortijo de Mondalón consists of a farmhouse, built in the late nineteenth century, a winery and wine cellar as well as stables and ponds. The buildings are classified as protected.
The various buildings have two sided and four sided roofs, made of wood and covered in tiles. Load-bearing walls are of masonry blocks with stone corners.
Bordering the farm itself is the beautiful winery that produces Mondalón, red, white and Muscat wines, and is part of the Wine Route of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. On the Wine Route there are a variety of wineries, with the designation of origin “Gran Canaria”. In the wine area, there is also a golf course and tennis courts.
For hygiene reasons no pets are allowed in the hotel.
